Specifications for Advertising in the CEAV Calendar

The following is a check list of instructions to ensure that your calendar page design will be print ready for the printer company who are compiling the calendar.

  1. Be sure to create the document as a A4 landscape page (297mm width x 210mm height)
  2. Ensure that your file is created as a CMYK print ready document and that all photos or images added to the document are changed to the CMYK format. This can be done in Photoshop.
  3. Please ensure that all photos that reach the border of the document stretch over the bleed area by 3mm
  4. Allow crop marks and set the bleed to 5mm on all sides, add registration marks as well. This is done in the export to PDF settings for in Design or Illustrator.
